Who We Are

Chaplain Service of Connecticut (CSC) is a Christ-centered, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that trains, certifies, and helps place Volunteer Chaplains in nursing homes, convalescent facilities, hospitals, halfway homes, prisons, and other facilities in the Greater Danbury area and throughout Connecticut.

Volunteer Chaplains have a heart for and sensitivity to the spiritual needs of the elderly, infirm, and incarcerated. They are in good standing with their churches of membership and are recommended for CSC training by their church pastors.

In its first year of operation, CSC has trained and certified over 60 Associate Chaplains, many of whom have active ministries throughout Connecticut.
